Armando Bayolo is the recipient of two new commissions: a trombone concerto for Philip Brown and the South Jutland Symphony Orchestra of Denmark, to be premiered in January, 2011 and a symphony, Canto America, for a consortium of wind ensembles led by the University of Oregon Wind Ensemble, Robert Ponto, Music Director, to be premiered during the 2010-11 and 2011-12 concert seasons.  Stay tuned for more details on these pieces!
